GitHub TLS Certificate Renewal

 By mafields The TLS certificate for the NC State GitHub service expires on May 16th. There will be a brief outage while we add the new certificate to the GitHub appliance. We are planning to apply the new certificate at 5:30PM on May 10th.

Account Archive/Removal for Separated Users

 By mafields On Tuesday, March 9th, beginning at 11:00 AM, we will be starting the archive and removal process for GitHub accounts for separated users. We anticipate running the removal process on March 15th.

Disabling TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1

 By mafields Support for TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 will be removed for the NC State GitHub service on January 27th at 11:00 AM.

GitHub Upgrade – 2.22.0/2.22.1

 By mafields The 2.22.0 update is a feature update, bringing new functionality and changes. The 2.22.1 update is a bugfix patch addressing several issues from the 2.22.0 release. Note that while Actions, Packages, and Code Scanning are available as Beta Features, we have not opted into the beta for the NC State GitHub Service, and these features will not be available this patch. We will be applying the patch at 5:00 PM EST on Oct 19th.
